“Our Little Piece of Heaven”
Every person on earth experiences different wants, needs and dreams throughout their life. For my wife Margie and me, our dreams included a small lot on water and a log home. The purchase of our lot on the Toccoa River turned out to be the simple part of our dream.

To be allowed to build our home 50 feet off of the river, construction had to be under way by June 1, 2001. With the professional guidance and expertise of Fireside Log Homes, our dream turned into reality. Although Margie and I were deeply involved with the entire process, Fireside was continually there for advice, support and most important for the construction of our home.

We have been enjoying our beautiful home (see Country’s Best Log Homes-Buyers Guide 2004) since February 2002. We have decided to sell our residence in Atlanta and permanently live in Blue Ridge as our retirement home. Our Fireside Log Home is “Our Little Piece of Heaven”.
